Retired Little Turkey Thanksgiving Limoges Box

A little turkey struts proudly across this porcelain piece, ready to take its place at the Thanksgiving table. It is a retired design, painted by hand on a Limoges box in Limoges, France.

Gobble Season

The wild turkey is a true American bird, and by November it seems to be everywhere, on placemats, in schoolroom paper crafts and in the center of the family feast. This little porcelain version lets the bird join the celebration without ending up on the platter.

A Thankful Table

Set it among pumpkins and candles as a centerpiece, place it beside the gravy boat, or give it to the host who has cooked the big meal for years. It also makes a warm present for a grandmother who keeps every holiday tradition alive.

Harvest Shelf

• A retired design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a Thanksgiving, autumn or farm bird grouping
• Pairs with pumpkin, acorn and cornucopia pieces

Thanksgiving pieces are much harder to find than Christmas ones, so this little turkey fills a real gap for seasonal collectors. Pack it away with the fall decorations each December, and it will be waiting when the leaves turn again next year.
