Retired Dog Fetching the Newspaper Limoges Box

The Morning Edition

Before news arrived on phones, plenty of families relied on the dog to fetch the paper from the end of the driveway. It is a habit that still makes owners smile, and this box captures that proud moment of a job well done.

For Readers and Reporters

This is a clever present for a journalist, an editor or a retiree who still takes the print edition every day. It also suits a dog owner whose pup has a favorite chore, or a newsroom colleague leaving for a new job.

Display it on a breakfast table, beside a reading chair, or on a desk in a home office. Retired dog designs with a bit of story behind them are among the most popular with dog collectors, and this one has an easy, everyday warmth that fits almost any room.
